Oh god, what a joy/torment it was to watch this episode. It’s interesting that it comes after “Once More, With Feeling” because it manages to capture the same tonal shifts that the previous episode does. Anyway, I’ll get into it more in a second.

First of all, many thanks to Peter, who came up with the idea to commission my favorite episode of LOST for a re-watch. I’ve only re-watched a handful of episodes since the show ended in 2010. Re-watching “The Constant” was a lovely reminder of just how good this show was at times.
