OH MY GOD THE TIME HAS FINALLY ARRIVED HELP ME I AM SO OVERWHELMED. Let’s get down to business!
Due to a scheduling conflict, the liveblog has to be moved to SUNDAY, April 1st. I cannot attend my own liveblog if it’s on Saturday. WHOOPS. The liveblog will start at 1:00pm PDT. Please consult a world clock to determine when that will be for you.
There will be a scheduled intermission at 2:45pm PDT. We will be using the split in between the two discs as the intermission. The Intermission will last 20 minutes or so, and we will start up again at 3:05pm. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: I AM USING THE EXTENDED EDITION, NOT THE THEATRICAL EDITION. I WANT AS MUCH FELLOWSHIPÂ AS POSSIBLE. Please plan accordingly!

EEEE SO EXCITE HOW LONG HAVE WE WAITED FOR THIS DAY. I will have to stay up all night and go to work immediately after the movie ends but TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Hello, long-time lurker here–I haven’t commented since His Dark Materials, but I’ve been following along with LOTR. Because of this date change I will finally be able to participate in a liveblog for the first time ever! I’m excited because Fellowship is not only my favorite LOTR movie but also on my list of all-time favorite movies. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve watched it (I own the EE), but now it’s been a few years so I’m looking forward to watching it again in a different way!
And Mark, I just have to say: I really enjoy your blog. I’ve been reading since Deathly Hallows. Sometimes your reviews make me laugh or cry, but they always make me think; we need more blogs like that on the Internet. If your tour brings you to Asheville, NC, I’ll be there!
