Mark Predicts ‘Person of Interest’: Season 3

I love so deeply that this show has ruined me as much as it has and that I was not even close to getting most of this right. LET ME IGNORANTLY STUMBLE INTO SEASON 3 WITH ALL OF YOU.

First things first:

1. Finch will not be rescued until the end of the second episode of season 2. Holy shit, I got something right.
2. Simmons will be shown turning on Fusco in the first episode since he saw Fusco helping Carter and Reese. It happened later, I believe!
3. Zoe Morgan will appear three times in season 2.  I ACTUALLY GOT THIS RIGHT, OH MY GOD.
4. Nathan Ingram will appear in flashbacks four times. Final count: Five. I got so close!!!
5. We’ll find out what happened with Mark Snow and Kara Stanton. WHO WAS READY: not me.
6. Agent Donnelly will begin to suspect that Joss Carter is working with Reese. AND THEN IMMEDIATELY KILLED, GOOD GOD. 
7. HR will get both Fusco and Carter suspended at least once this season. Oh my god, they got so close, but NOPE.
8. We will learn more of Finch’s past with Ingram. Specifically: what happened after the government took ownership of The Machine. HELP ME, I LEARNED TOO MUCH. 
9. We will learn why Alicia believed that The Machine killed Nathan Ingram. It wasn’t the Machine; it was “Control.”
10. Elias will get out of prison. Technically??? He did in “God Mode.”
11. Root will only be in two episodes of season 2. NOT EVEN CLOSE. OH MY GOD.
12. Simmons is killed by Fusco. I wish!!!!!
13. Root is killed by Finch. She is still alive, help me. 
14. We will find out where The Machine is being kept. WE ACTUALLY DID OH MY GOD AND IT WASN’T WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS.
15. Over the course of this season, the Machine will start to give more information than just a person’s social security number. I’m not counting this, though it did give more information, but not in the way I meant this one. 
16. Finch will gain full access to The Machine in the season finale. Nope. THE MACHINE IS FREE!!!

Like I said last time: It’s quite thrilling to be given so much to go on for these predictions. HERE I GO.

Season 3 Predictions

1. We will learn the identity of the woman in the car who Hersh spoke to in “God Mode.”
2. We will find out that the Machine is still giving numbers to the government, too.
3. We will learn where the Machine was moved to.
4. Root will get out of the facility she is in.
5. BONUS POINTS IF THE MACHINE HELPS HER.
6. Shaw joins the team in season 3!
7. HR goes after BOTH Fusco and Carter in season 3.
8. And both of them get fired in the season 3 finale.
9. The government will threaten Grace to get at Harold.
10. Nathan Ingram will be in two flashbacks.
11. Zoe Morgan will be in three episodes.
12. Hersh dies in season 3.
13. The Machine will stop giving out numbers at the end of season 3.
14. Because the government turns it off out of spite.
15. And the finale: the Machine goes FULL ROGUE.
