Mark Predicts ‘Enterprise’: Season 4

Hello, my lovely Trek friends! We have arrived at my FINAL Star Trek prediction post, at least for the time being. It has taken me over three years to get here, but oh my god, WE MADE IT. And yet I am still unprepared, whoops.

First things first:

1. The Xindi will not be located in the first episode. Correct! Sort of? I’m counting this. 
2. This season’s arc: locating the Xindi and destroying the weapon that will wipe out humanity. YES. AND IT WAS MOSTLY GREAT. 
3. T’Pol will get her commission back by the end of the season. Incredible, NOT EVEN CLOSE. She still doesn’t have it, nor does she seem to want it. 
4. We’ll learn that the corpse inside the probe IS one of the Xindi. Correct!
5. We will find out which faction warned the Xindi about the future timeline. SPHEREBUILDERS
6. We will see Silik again! Actually, we didn’t, right? He was only in the season 2 finale.
7. As will we see Future Person, but we won’t learn their identity. No on the first one, but yes to the second!
8. We will learn why Reed has a weird relationship with his family. (I know it’s more or less suggested why but I just want to see them again and shall credit myself if they do.) i’VE GIVEN UP ON THIS
9. The vast majority of season 3 will take place in the Expanse. All of it but one episode did!!!
10. The Enterprise will find one of the ships that went to the Expanse but never came back. YES AND IT WAS FUCKED UP. 
11. They will find the Xindi by episode ten. TRUE. 
12. They will destroy the weapon before it reaches Earth in the finale. FALSE. It technically “reached” earth in “Zero Down” so I LOSE. 
13. At least two episodes about time travel. AT LEAST EVERYTHING HOLY SHIT. 
14. T’POL WILL ADMIT THAT TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE. A beautiful thing!!!
15. The season finale will introduce another story for season four. I’m GUESSING that cliffhanger is the next plot thread but maybe not????

Last things next, y’all. Here’s what I think will happen in the last season of Enterprise.

1. We will find out that Enterprise did not travel through time, but that Archer’s death actually created a new timeline, so that war we saw in “Zero Hour” is actually in “modern” times.
2. Hostile aliens invaded Earth a few years prior to that war.
3. Space travel isn’t possible yet.
4. Only Enterprise was affected by the timeline jump.
5. And Archer & company will correct the timeline by the end of the first episode of the season.
6. HOWEVER!!!! Season four will be about how Archer’s “death” on the Xindi weapon massively upset time.
7. And this will be the means by which the Temporal Cold War is finally explained in full.
8. WHAT IF THE TEMPORAL COLD WAR IS ACTUALLY HOW ARCHER JUST COMPLETELY FUCKED UP TIME FOR EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING.
9. We will see Daniels again.
10. And Silik.
11. And that weird Future Man.
12. FUTURE MAN’S IDENTITY WILL BE REVEALED
13. (It’s not someone we’ve met before.)
14. T’Pol and Tucker will advance their relationship in season 4.
15. Travis will see his family again.
16. Fuck it, I’m doing it again, REED DELVES INTO HIS FAMILY PAST MORE.
17. We will see one of Phlox’s wives in this season.
18. Hoshi gets at least one episode centered around her.
19. The finale of this show will be a flash forward to the formation of the Federation, and we’ll get to see the scene Daniels took Archer to in “Zero Hour.”
