Mark Predicts ‘Enterprise’: Season 3

Oh, that finale just opened up a world of possibilities. I’M SO EXCITED, LET’S DO THIS.

First things first:

1. Archer constructs a method of leaving the 31st century. VICTORY. Oh god, so much happened since season two’s premiere!
2. Daniels explains how he is not dead, but sort of is. Thankfully!
3. Silik confronts Archer once in the premiere episode. Technically more than once, right? They had at least two scenes together.
4. But we’ll see him four more times this season. Nope! My count is only twice more. 
5. Archer and Daniels will find a way to undo the Paraagan attack/timeline. VICTORY AGAIN.
6. The main serialized focus of season 2 is the Temporal Cold War. I’d say this is correct, though there wasn’t as much serialization as I expected.
7. So we’ll get an episode far into the past. “CARBON CREEK” COUNTS. I’M COUNTING IT.
8. And another episode way in the future. Well, not quite. Stuff from way in the future makes it to the present time!
9. We will find out why Reed has such an odd relationship with his parents. I STILL WANT THIS.
10. We will also meet Travis’s family and get to see the cargo ship he grew up on! AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES OF THE WHOLE SEASON.
11. Hoshi’s language skills will save the day TWICE. I think it was only once.
12. We will meet another Denobulan! OH MY GOD WE DID.
13. T’Pol will convince the Vulcan High Command not to abandon their partnership with the humans or stop humans from exploring space. AND THEN SHE RESIGNED. HELP ME, I’M EMOTIONAL.
14. I don’t have any predictions for Tucker and I swear I don’t hate him I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT I CAN PREDICT FOR HIM. His sister 🙁 🙁 🙁
15. He’ll get the hots for an alien? Probably. When doesn’t he?
16. Season 2’s cliffhanger is gonna be bigger than this first one was. You know what? It wasn’t. But I’m okay with that. I think it’s a much better story choice!

And that’s what makes me excited about season three! The Expanse could be explored for more than one episode, so I hope that’s the case. LET ME TRY TO PREDICT THIS, THEN.

Season 3 Predictions

1. The Xindi will not be located in the first episode.
2. This season’s arc: locating the Xindi and destroying the weapon that will wipe out humanity.
3. T’Pol will get her commission back by the end of the season.
4. We’ll learn that the corpse inside the probe IS one of the Xindi.
5. We will find out which faction warned the Xindi about the future timeline.
6. We will see Silik again!
7. As will we see Future Person, but we won’t learn their identity.
8. We will learn why Reed has a weird relationship with his family. (I know it’s more or less suggested why but I just want to see them again and shall credit myself if they do.)
9. The vast majority of season 3 will take place in the Expanse.
10. The Enterprise will find one of the ships that went to the Expanse but never came back.
11. They will find the Xindi by episode ten.
12. They will destroy the weapon before it reaches Earth in the finale.
13. At least two episodes about time travel.
14. T’POL WILL ADMIT THAT TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE.
15. The season finale will introduce another story for season four.

LET’S DO THIS, I AM GENUINELY EXCITED.
