Mark Predicts ‘The Next Generation’: Season 4

I AM CACKLING AT THAT ONE PREDICTION WHAT HAVE I DONE. Oh, I’ve created a beautiful monster, that’s what. LET’S DO THIS.

How. HOW!?!?!?

1. Wesley leaves the Enterprise. See? I totally thought this would happen.
2. Picard is kidnapped at some point. THIS IS THE FUNNIEST AND MOST UNBELIEVABLY UNFORTUNATE PREDICTION OF ALL TIME.
3. Dr. Pulaski will be listed as a main character in the opening credits. NOPE. Just disappeared! Can’t have too many women on board the Enterprise.
4. We’ll get a flashback episode for Worf. Does “Sins of the Father” count? I’m counting it.
5. As well as one for Deanna. I still want this.
6. We’ll see the Ferengi again. Multiple times!
7. We’ll get another episode centering on The Borg. H E L P
8. Q will show up once. And he did!
9. Ensign Gomez! More of her! Well, I tried.
10. Riker will romance three women. (SIGH.) I believe it was only one? Maybe two? 
11. We will get our first The Next Generation cliffhanger!!! I WANT ONE. NO I DON’T. TAKE IT BACK. TAKE IT B A C K
12. We’ll get one Holodeck episode. Oh lord, “Hollow Pursuits” totally counts!!!
13. We’ll get one Data-centric episode as well. WE GOT SO MANY AND ALMOST ALL OF THEM WERE AMAZING.
14. I also want one about the Klingon-Federation alliance! JESUS I WAS SO GOOD WITH PREDICTIONS
15. There will also be one story about time travel. !!!!!! HOW HAVE I DONE THIS !!!!!!!
16. There will be no episodes worse than “Shades of Grey.” Does “Evolution” count, given that I fell asleep during it?

Wow, those are some of the most eerily correct predictions I’ve ever done. I’M PROUD OF MYSELF and slightly terrified? Anyway, here goes nothing:

1. Somehow, Picard will be “cured” of his Borg transformation.
2. Earth won’t be blown up or conquered.
3. Data will discover the method to (temporarily) defeat the Borg.
4. We’ll get a Q episode.
5. We’ll get at least one reference to Worf’s decision to be ostracized from the Klingons.
6. We’ll get one more appearance from Lwaxana Troi.
7. Other than the opening episode, we won’t see the Borg in season 4
8. The finale will be a cliffhanger, too..
9. I really want a Deanna flashback episode. I REALLY WANT IT.
10. Wesley will finally leave the Enterprise to enter the Academy.
11. Picard and Dr. Crusher will go on a date!
12. One episode will be full of Shakespeare references. (Again.)
13. At some point, I will angrily shout at all of you for making me watch this show.
