Oh, this is so exciting, y’all! Today, I attempt to predict what will happen in season 2 of The 100. You will learn that I am either eerily prescient or horribly, ironically terrible at this game. THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN.
Just in case you’ve never participated in a predictions post before, a bit of a heads up. Spoiler rules still apply here. Do not post fake predictions pretending you’ve seen this show. Do not quote my predictions and make little ambiguous comments about them without using rot13, as it usually can spoil me by telling me whether a prediction is right or wrong. And definitely don’t tell me that!
There are usually folks around here watching shows along with me for the first time, so please treat them with the same respect. All spoiler-y talk must be in rot13.
Oh god, WHAT AM I DOING.
Mark’s (and Baize’s!) Predictions for Season 2 of The 100
- Seriously, I consulted with my boyfriend for all of these because he’s no longer just a cameo in the background of these things. So, to start off: Bellamy is alive.
- Finn is alive as well.
- The Mountain Men have access to technology that we’ve not seen before on Earth, but will rival what we saw on the Arc.
- Because of this, RAVEN SURVIVES HALLELUJAH. They’ll heal her.
- Jaha survives. I have no idea how, but both Baize and I agree that he can’t be dead yet.
- Baize wants to state that for the record, he has abandoned his pet theory that Wells is still alive somewhere. I, however, have never thought he was still alive.
- Murphy dies in season two.
- The Ark characters will re-unite with the 100 by the middle of the season.
- We both think that the Ark characters were not looking at the smoky remains of the Grounder attack.
- We think it’s the Grounder camp.
- Finn and Bellamy will be the ones to lead the Ark characters to the 100.
- Lincoln and Octavia will have a completely separate storyline the entire time, and Lincoln will actively train Octavia to become like a Grounder. Maybe not actually one.
- Some of the 100 will become part of the Mountain Men.
- We will find out why the Grounders are so afraid of the Mountain Men.
- Baize thinks that Kane might go back to being a total asshole in a new situation. I don’t think that’s the case. THIS IS OUR FIRST FIGHT.
- We think we’ll learn more about the history of the humans who stayed behind.
- We think the big thing that’ll be revealed this season is of a new group/faction in the season finale.
- And we’ll learn who the Mountain Men really are.
- Baize says he wants some actually-surviving black people in the Mountain Men. BLOOP.
ONWARDS, WE GO, EVERYONE. THIS IS REALLY FUCKING EXCITING.
