Since I’m only doing two seasons of this show (the third season, which has a slightly different title and is utterly unavailable anywhere), this will be my only prediction post for this show. SAD, I know, but thankfully, I’ve got a lot of episodes to cover from here on out. SO LET’S DO THIS!

In case this is your first time participating in one these, let me share these quick rules with you:

1) Do not spoil me or others. Anyone is welcome to post predictions for season two! Treat everyone as you would treat me.

2) Do not post “fake” predictions. Despite that it’s been a while since someone’s done it, I just want to warn against this behavior. People used to pretend to be unspoiled and then post predictions that were all eerily correct, and it would thereby spoil folks who’d seen their post. Don’t do this, my mods will know when you do.

3) Do not respond to predictions in plaintext; use rot13. Don’t tally how many a person got right/wrong and tell them. Don’t reply to a prediction in plaintext, even if it’s something like, “Wow,” or “Oh my god” or anything of the sort. This can easily bias a person into thinking they’re either super right or super wrong about something, or it can even nudge them into believing they should pay attention for certain things. Let us be blissfully wrong, it’s more fun that way.

4) Have fun at my expense. I mean, that’s the whole point of this.

HERE WE GO.

Predictions for Season 2

We will see Xanatos and Demona work together many times.

There will be numerous flashback episodes.

Some of these flashbacks will introduce gargoyles who are not around anymore.

The gargoyles will officially work with the NYPD throughout season 2, helping to solve crimes.

The Pack will appear again.

So will Macbeth!

SO WILL COLDSTONE, but that’s not because I think it’s actually going to happen. I just want it badly.

At least once, we’ll see a new gargoyle in the PRESENT day.

For at least one full episode, the gargoyles will live in Wyvern Castle again.

Derek Maza will quit working for Xanatos.

And he’ll join the NYPD again.

Elisa’s partner, Matt, will be very hesitant to work with any gargoyles.

Lexington will learn how to drive a car.

BROADWAY WILL GO TO A LIVE SHOW ON BROADWAY.

One of the gargoyles will fall in love.

Halfway through the season, one of the gargoyles will appear on live television.

Xanatos will be the main antagonist.

But he will not be the only one: Demona will remain an antagonist the whole time, too.

At the end of the season, a citizen upset at the gargoyles presence will try to get rid of them.

There we go! As far as scheduling goes, I have not put anything beyond this on the Master Schedule. If you have not seen the reason why, here’s a Facebook post about it, AND there is a stickied post at the top of Mark Watches, too.

In short: I am about to enter the editing period on my first novel. It is entirely possible that I’ll be done everything in a very short amount of time. It could take longer! I don’t know, since I have not gotten edits back on it. Once I do and I’ve completed them, I promise I will let y’all know once I can add this back to my schedule and catch up on Steven Universe.
