Well, the time is here: my final prediction post for\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine<\/em>. I’ve made it through six seasons of this wonderful show, and I’m so glad I got to watch. Let’s revisit season 6 and look forward to the final season of this show.<\/p>\n

First things first:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Sisko\/Starfleet will not take back DS9 in the first episode.\u00c2\u00a0Huzzah! Correct!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll take HALF THE SEASON to do that.\u00c2\u00a0And then immediately wrong.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Meaning that the characters will be largely separated until then.\u00c2\u00a0I’M COUNTING THIS BECAUSE IT STILL WORKS.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. That includes Jake. THAT MAKES MY HEART BREAK.\u00c2\u00a0I HAD NO IDEA HOW MUCH IT WOULD HURT.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. There will be an episode just about Jake\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s war reporting.\u00c2\u00a0Sort of? “Valiant” kind of fits this.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Odo will be forced to work as Chief of Security under Dukat.\u00c2\u00a0Indeed, he did.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Garak will help Sisko infiltrate DS9 when the time comes.\u00c2\u00a0GARAK HELPED WITH MANY OTHER THINGS.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Jadzia and Worf will get married by the end of the season.\u00c2\u00a0YES YES YES YES.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Kira and Odo will attempt to see each other by the end of the season.\u00c2\u00a0OH MY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE LOOK AT THIS.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. But it won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t work out.\u00c2\u00a0oh my god IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. Keiko and the kids will return to the station by the end of the season.\u00c2\u00a0AND IT WAS GLORIOUS and then weird.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. Julian\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s past will come up again in another episode.\u00c2\u00a0Actually, it came up ALL THE FUCKING TIME.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. This is more of a request, but can Morn speak ONCE?\u00c2\u00a0HOW MUCH CACKLING WAS THERE AT MY EXPENSE.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  14. Quark\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s conscience will develop this season after witnessing the war firsthand.\u00c2\u00a0This is not a bad prediction, actually, though I’m still bitter that I had to sit through “Profit and Lace” and\u00c2\u00a0not<\/span><\/em> get a reformed or changed Quark.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. Season 6 ends with the end of the Dominion War, and the Dominion will be defeated. A bold choice, but I think it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s possible.\u00c2\u00a0I WAS 100% WRONG ON THIS, SO WRONG, UTTERLY WRONG, WRONG FOREVER.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So, let’s try this one last time.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Sisko will not return to Deep Space Nine until the FIFTH episode of the season.<\/li>\n
    2. At some point, a new Dax symbiont will appear, and they’ll be a woman.<\/li>\n
    3. Worf will have to deal with a new Dax, but will ultimately choose to stay with her.<\/li>\n
    4. Oh god, I really want this: JULIAN GETS AN INVITATION TO SECTION 31.<\/li>\n
    5. THERE WILL BE A WHOLE EPISODE ON IT, I WANT THIS MORE THAN MOST THINGS.<\/li>\n
    6. Quark will finally have some character growth.<\/li>\n
    7. Morn will speak once. (Bonus if it’s in the finale.)<\/li>\n
    8. Sisko and Kasidy Yates will get married!<\/li>\n
    9. Kira and Odo will get married, too.<\/li>\n
    10. Gul Dukat dies.<\/li>\n
    11. Garak dies.<\/li>\n
    12. Weyoun dies.<\/li>\n
    13. Damar dies.<\/li>\n
    14. Nog dies.<\/li>\n
    15. Jake leaves Deep Space Nine.<\/li>\n
    16. (I’m gonna just do a whole bunch of huge, series-ending predictions because I suspect this show is not fucking around with me.)<\/li>\n
    17. Deep Space Nine is destroyed by the end of the series.<\/li>\n
    18. Sisko regains contact with the Prophets by re-opening the wormhole.<\/li>\n
    19. Kira leaves DS9 in the finale to live on Bajor.<\/li>\n
    20. The Federation wins the Dominion War, but it won’t happen until the series finale.<\/li>\n
    21. Julian finds a romantic partner by the end of the series.<\/li>\n
    22. The Federation gets a huge new ally before the Dominion War ends.<\/li>\n
    23. I will cry a lot in the finale and at least one other episode.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
