Welcome, welcome, friends, to the first prediction post for Star Trek: Discovery<\/i>! LET\u00e2\u20ac\u2122S DO THIS.<\/p>\n
Since it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s been a hot minute, I want to do a bit of a refresher on how these posts will work. Well, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s also possible when I start a new show that there\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a new reader, and you must be prepared so that I can remain unprepared!<\/p>\n
If this is your first time following along with one of my projects, I just ask that you be particularly careful around predictions. It hasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t really happened in the past few years, but sometimes people would find interesting ways to get around the spoiler rules when I posted predictions. So please, keep all commentary on them based in rot13, and be aware of the fact that I do read the comments and would like not to be spoiled.<\/p>\n
All right, so: Here is my attempt to guess what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s gonna happen in season two!<\/p>\n
Predictions for Season 2 of Discovery<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
1) First and foremost, this is more of a need than a guess: Dr. Hugh Culber is somehow going to come back to the show because of the mycelial network.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 2) A familiar face BESIDES Admiral Pike will be on the Enterprise<\/i>.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 3) Bonus points if it is Spock.<\/p>\n 4) At some point in season 2, Burnham and Tyler will rekindle their romance.<\/p>\n 5) But it ultimately won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t work out.<\/p>\n 6) Tilly will graduate out of her command program by the end of the season.<\/p>\n 7) Saru will have a story\/arc with another Kelpien.<\/p>\n 8) We will meet the new captain of the Discovery<\/i> by the end of episode 2.<\/p>\n 9) We will also get an arc involving Terran Georgiou.<\/p>\n 10) Who will also return to her universe by the end of the season.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 11) Another major character will die this season.<\/p>\n 12) I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know if the timeline syncs up the same, but I am gonna guess that Pike\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s story will intersect with the one we saw on The Original Series<\/i> at some point.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 13) The main serialized story won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be about the Klingons, but a new threat.\u00c2\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n 14) A species\/culture from the original batch of shows will appear on Discovery<\/i> for the first time.<\/p>\n 15) I LITERALLY DON\u00e2\u20ac\u2122T KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD HAPPEN!!!<\/p>\n All right, off I go to watch some Short Treks<\/i> next.
