So, first things first: Let’s talk about my predictions for this final season, which I think I did pretty well at? Sort of???<\/p>\n

1) We will find out that Rose was behind Michael\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s faked death and disappearance.\u00c2\u00a0See? Off to a good start.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2) Michael and Jane will attempt to date one another.\u00c2\u00a0And everything will hurt.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

3) It won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t work out.\u00c2\u00a0STILL HURTS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4) Jane \/ Rafael is end game. (This feels like an educated guess to me. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just that Jane and Rafael have grown so much together over the past season that I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t sense the show willing to abandon that? Also, Michael did not seem as enthused to see Jane. SOMETHING IS UP.)\u00c2\u00a0SEE. SEE I DID REALLY, REALLY WELL.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

5) Xiomara will not have a recurrence of cancer.\u00c2\u00a0FIVE IN A ROW.<\/strong><\/p>\n

6) Alba and Jorge will fall in love.\u00c2\u00a0SIX!!!!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

7) The Passions of Steve<\/i> will not be a hit at first, but will eventually become a major success.\u00c2\u00a0Actually, I am not really that sure this ever became a thing? Like, it kinda fell to the side in terms of a being a major plot. I mean, it got a series order, so that’s good?\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

8) Mateo will have a difficult time adjusting to Michael being back.\u00c2\u00a0UH. YEAH.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

9) Jane Ramos will be around for a few episodes, but I think she leaves Petra by episode five.\u00c2\u00a0help me why was\u00c2\u00a0I right<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10) Jane Ramos shot Milos.\u00c2\u00a0Okay, glad I was right about this one.<\/strong><\/p>\n

11) Magda will die this season. (PLEASE GET RID OF HER.)\u00c2\u00a0Unfortunately not dead<\/strong><\/p>\n

12) So will Rose.\u00c2\u00a0HELL YEAH<\/strong><\/p>\n

13) Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a wild, poetic prediction: Rose dies by Luisa\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hand.\u00c2\u00a0H E L L \u00c2\u00a0Y E A H\u00c2\u00a0I am so glad this ended up being right.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

14) Jane will finish her second book this season.\u00c2\u00a0LOOK, THIS MIGHT BE MY BEST RUN OF PREDICTIONS EVER.<\/strong><\/p>\n

15) It will also be published.\u00c2\u00a0Well, we didn’t see that happen in the chronology of the show, but she got a deal.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

16) AND IT WILL BE FAR MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN HER FIRST!!!\u00c2\u00a0Same with this, so technically, I didn’t get this one right.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

17) I think the series finale will have a major time jump, and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get to see a snapshot of all the main characters FINALLY HAPPY.\u00c2\u00a0Okay, this was a good prediction, though unfortunately wrong. BUT HAPPINESS! That part I got right!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honestly, look at me. However, I have to point out that while I was prepared for many of these twists, the actual experience of watching season 5 was far more stressful than this makes it seem. IT HURT SO MUCH.<\/p>\n

People usually ask me things like favorite episodes, favorite seasons, etc. But it’s also a chance for there to be a SPOILER-FILLED DISCUSSION!
