Hello, friends! I cannot believe we’ve reached this point, but I have no episodes of\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine<\/em> left to watch. Whenever I reach the end of a long series, I like to host a Q&A of sorts. This allows me to comment on all manners of things, big and small. You can also share things with me or ask me about whatever the hell you want.<\/p>\n

First things first: let’s go over my final set of predictions for this incredible show:<\/p>\n

  1. Sisko will not return to Deep Space Nine until the FIFTH episode of the season.\u00c2\u00a0Not a bad prediction, but he was back sooner.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. At some point, a new Dax symbiont will appear, and they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be a woman.\u00c2\u00a0I WAS RIGHT. HI, EZRI.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Worf will have to deal with a new Dax, but will ultimately choose to stay with her.\u00c2\u00a0HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHSDFJKDA LADSHFL DSJFLAKJSHDF;KSLDJF; SDF;KLHDF;L A;SLDKJ \u00c2\u00a0A;LSKDJF;SDFJ\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Oh god, I really want this: JULIAN GETS AN INVITATION TO SECTION 31.\u00c2\u00a0I LOVE THE SECTION 31 PLOT ON THIS SHOW SO MUCH.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. THERE WILL BE A WHOLE EPISODE ON IT, I WANT THIS MORE THAN MOST THINGS.\u00c2\u00a0I GOT MORE THAN ONE, IT WAS GREAT. For the most part.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Quark will finally have some character growth.\u00c2\u00a0Meh? \u00c2\u00a0Not really?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Morn will speak once. (Bonus if it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in the finale.)\u00c2\u00a0I really thought he would!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Sisko and Kasidy Yates will get married!\u00c2\u00a0HELP ME.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. Kira and Odo will get married, too.\u00c2\u00a0why. why have you done this to me.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. Gul Dukat dies.\u00c2\u00a0FINALLY<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. Garak dies.\u00c2\u00a0I’m so glad I was wrong.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. Weyoun dies.\u00c2\u00a0ANOTHER RIGHT.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. Damar dies.\u00c2\u00a0WHO KNEW I WOULDN’T HATE DAMAR WITH EVERY BONE IN MY BODY.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  14. Nog dies.\u00c2\u00a0Whew, also glad I was wrong.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. Jake leaves Deep Space Nine.\u00c2\u00a0LITERAL OPPOSITE. I’m still fucked up by that final image.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  16. (I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m gonna just do a whole bunch of huge, series-ending predictions because I suspect this show is not fucking around with me.)\u00c2\u00a0SO TRUE.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  17. Deep Space Nine is destroyed by the end of the series.\u00c2\u00a0Actually glad I was wrong about this!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  18. Sisko regains contact with the Prophets by re-opening the wormhole.\u00c2\u00a0FUCK THE PROPHETS.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  19. Kira leaves DS9 in the finale to live on Bajor.\u00c2\u00a0This was not a bad prediction.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  20. The Federation wins the Dominion War, but it won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t happen until the series finale.\u00c2\u00a0BOOYAH.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  21. Julian finds a romantic partner by the end of the series.\u00c2\u00a0I still feel weird about this.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  22. The Federation gets a huge new ally before the Dominion War ends.\u00c2\u00a0LOOK HOW I PREDICTED THE CARDASSIAN DEFECTION WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IT.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  23. I will cry a lot in the finale and at least one other episode.\u00c2\u00a0I teared up a few times, but nothing fucked me up quite as much as “What You Leave Behind.”<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So, while I posted my thoughts on the series finale, think of this as a chance to ask me anything you want about the series. Favorite episodes! Worst episodes! Favorite plots! Best twists!
