Oh, I am so excited for season four. But before I venture into the great unknown, let’s reflect on how unprepared I was for season 3.<\/p>\n

LOOK AT THESE.<\/p>\n

  1. We will see who else belongs to the Dominion.\u00c2\u00a0HELP ME.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. At one point, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see or meet the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Founders.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00c2\u00a0WOW I REGRET THIS, MAKE IT STOP.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. The Dominion threat will take up a great deal of season 3.\u00c2\u00a0I don’t think this technically counts; it was the main serialized plot, but we didn’t get a “great deal” of stories.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Odo will learn more about his origins. (I JUST WANT THIS.)\u00c2\u00a0TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Another Garak + Bashir episode!\u00c2\u00a0WHO KNEW THAT GARAK + ODO WOULD BECOME THE ACTUAL EPISODE I NEEDED.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get three episodes with Kai Winn and three with Vedek Bareil.\u00c2\u00a0Did I seriously do this. BAREIL IS DEAD, MARK.\u00c2\u00a0DEAD<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get an episode about someone from Dax\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s past.\u00c2\u00a0This is perhaps the funniest one because she met LITERALLY ALL OF HER PAST HOSTS.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Kira will break things off with Bareil.\u00c2\u00a0Oh, fuck you, Mark. FUCK YOU.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get an episode that takes place in the Mirror Universe!\u00c2\u00a0AND IT WAS AWESOME.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. I will not be able to handle the adorableness of Sisko\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s relationship with Jake.\u00c2\u00a0A safe one! I don’t care, give me a victory that isn’t Pyrrhic.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see another Trill.\u00c2\u00a0You know… did we get one? I’m looking over the episode titles and I can’t remember.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. I still want another episode dealing solely with the ramifications of the Cardassian occupation of Bajor. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122M NOT DONE WITH THIS STORYLINE.\u00c2\u00a0SO MANY OF THEM. SO GOOD.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. Maybe an episode solely about Gul Dukat???\u00c2\u00a0I still want one.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  14. And one about Jake, too?\u00c2\u00a0I’m counting “Explorers.”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122M NOT READY FOR SEASON 3.\u00c2\u00a0TRUTH<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Okay, so I feel like I have a decent basis for some season 4 predictions, so here we go:<\/p>\n

    Mark’s Predictions for Season 4<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. THE DOMINION WILL BE THE MAIN PLOT IN THIS SEASON.<\/li>\n
    2. We’ll see more Founders.<\/li>\n
    3. I will be tricked twice by a Changeling pretending to be someone.<\/li>\n
    4. MORE KASIDY YATES. LOTS MORE.<\/li>\n
    5. The Odo\/Kira relationship will be explored at LEAST once.<\/li>\n
    6. Another Garak + Julian episode.<\/li>\n
    7. There will be a Gul Dukat episode too!<\/li>\n
    8. Another episode with Keiko in it!<\/li>\n
    9. The dart board will be retired.<\/li>\n
    10. I want Morn to have an episode as well.<\/li>\n
    11. The Sisko beard will stay.<\/li>\n
    12. Jake will accept the writing fellowship and leave DS9.<\/li>\n
    13. We’ll get an update about Quark’s and Rom’s mom.<\/li>\n
    14. NOG GETS INTO STARFLEET.<\/li>\n
    15. Jadzia goes on a date.<\/li>\n
    16. JADZIA DESTROYS SOMEONE.<\/li>\n
    17. The end of season 4: The Federation can’t hold off the Dominion any longer, and they invade the Alpha Quadrant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
