Friends!!! It is time for me to be willfully unprepared for another new show here on Mark Watches. This time, I will attempt to predict a season of\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine<\/em>, and I will surely fail at it.<\/p>\n

If you have by chance not been here for a prediction post, they’re fairly simply. I make predictions, everyone cackles at me, and it is generally seen as an entertaining art form.\u00c2\u00a0Please remember that the Spoiler Policy still applies here.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Do not in any way spoil me or\u00c2\u00a0anyone else posting their own predictions.<\/em> Don’t tally how many people got right or wrong, don’t quote me and say anything sly or cunning, and keep all spoiler-y talk in rot13.<\/p>\n

And with that, allow me to make a fool of myself.<\/p>\n

Predictions for Season 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. I think we’ll see the aftermath of Vedek Winn’s assassination attempt on Vedek Bareil at some point.<\/li>\n
  2. Meaning we’ll see both characters!<\/li>\n
  3. The next Kai will be chosen this season.<\/li>\n
  4. We’ll get another episode addressing Sisko’s role as the Emissary.<\/li>\n
  5. Quark will get locked up once this season.<\/li>\n
  6. Dax will meet another Trill this season.<\/li>\n
  7. Kira will butt heads about Bajoran policy in\u00c2\u00a0DS9<\/em> with Sisko over the course of a whole episode. It cannot be a single plot confined to a single scene; it has to be the whole episode.<\/li>\n
  8. Odo will learn more about his species by the end of the season!<\/li>\n
  9. We’ll get at least two episodes that take place on the other side of the wormhole.<\/li>\n
  10. We’ll see inside one of the holosuites this season.<\/li>\n
  11. We’ll see how Keiko deals with opposition to her school in this season.<\/li>\n
  12. We’ll see Julian deal with romantic feelings for someone other than Dax this season.<\/li>\n
  13. By the end of the season, we’ll get a new plot that ISN’T about the Bajoran reconstruction.<\/li>\n
  14. I DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO PREDICT.<\/li>\n
  15. Oooh! Jake will make a new friend on DS9.<\/li>\n
  16. There will be at least one two-parter this season.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
