The time has arrived for my FINAL predictions post for this show. LET US LAMENT THIS TOGETHER.<\/p>\n

First things first: let’s go over my predictions for season 6:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. We will find out why Guinan told Picard to go with the away team.\u00c2\u00a0More or less, yes?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Data won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t actually die in 1893, but we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get an explanation for his severed head.\u00c2\u00a0Huzzah! An easy one, yes, but still!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. There will be at least one two-parter in season six, and if it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the finale, that counts, too. BECAUSE I SAID SO.\u00c2\u00a0OH MY GOD, WE GOT TWO OF THEM.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. We will\u00c2\u00a0not<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0see Lwaxana Troi this season.\u00c2\u00a0We did not, but\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine!<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. But we will see Q once.\u00c2\u00a0We did! And it was awesome.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. We will also see the Cardassians again.\u00c2\u00a0And not in a context I expected!\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. We will see Wesley Crusher once near the end of the season and it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be in an episode where he finally graduates from the Academy.\u00c2\u00a0I’m actually surprised this didn’t happen.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see Sela again.\u00c2\u00a0SADFACE. I miss Denise Crosby!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll get a Holodeck episode.\u00c2\u00a0WHEN DON’T WE.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  10. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see Ro Laren four times.\u00c2\u00a0I miss her as well, but I feel like Kira has provided me with a characterization close enough to her that I don’t feel bad.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. There will be an episode about the Romulan threat. Just one!\u00c2\u00a0Hmmm. Technically, “The Chase,” right?<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. I think I will like season six more than season 5.\u00c2\u00a0This is a tough one. I REALLY, REALLY loved season 5, and the quality of season 6 varied too much.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. Riker will have sex with another species at least once. I mean, this is a given, no?\u00c2\u00a0Oh my god, DID HE? I didn’t keep track of this one.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  14. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll see Alexander twice.\u00c2\u00a0Nope!<\/strong><\/li>\n
  15. There will be an episode that sets up\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine<\/em>\u00c2\u00a0at some point!\u00c2\u00a0I mean… technically? Sort of??? Nothing super direct, though.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Okay, well, that wasn’t a shit show. CONGRATS TO MYSELF. And now, onwards to my final predictions post for this lovely show.<\/p>\n

    Predictions for Season 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Data will turn on Lore by the end of “Descent, Part I.”<\/li>\n
    2. Lore will die or be destroyed.<\/li>\n
    3. Data will not gain human emotions by the finale.<\/li>\n
    4. PLEASE LET PICARD AND DR. CRUSHER GO ON AT LEAST ONE DATE THIS SEASON. It’s the end! They have to!<\/li>\n
    5. I think we’ll see the following characters once in this final season: Q.<\/li>\n
    6. Lwaxana Troi.<\/li>\n
    7. Sela.<\/li>\n
    8. Hugh.<\/li>\n
    9. Wesley Crusher.<\/li>\n
    10. (And Wesley will have graduated from the Academy!)<\/li>\n
    11. One character from\u00c2\u00a0Deep Space Nine<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    12. Data as Sherlock Holmes.<\/li>\n
    13. Alexander<\/li>\n
    14. Worf’s parents<\/li>\n
    15. By the season finale, the following things will happen: Picard will retire.<\/li>\n
    16. Riker will get command of the\u00c2\u00a0Enterprise<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    17. Worf will leave the\u00c2\u00a0Enterprise<\/em>.<\/li>\n
    18. So will Dr. Crusher.<\/li>\n
    19. Deanna Troi will get a promotion.<\/li>\n
    20. I WILL BE A MESS WHEN THIS SHOW ENDS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      I can’t believe I’ve made it this far.<\/p>\n
